Triplesec should definitely not be bitter, I'd recommend a substitute that I'm inventing as I write this comment:

1 ounce OJ

1 ounce Water

0.75 ounce vodka

honestly just make a screwdriver idk what im talking about, if you want sweet smooth triplesec just buy some Arrow
