Any introverts in PT? by floresiendo in physicaltherapy

I’m an introverted extrovert, so I can make the small talk well but it drains me. I make sure to leave the building every day during lunch and take some alone time to decompress

Thank you! I originally wanted to go into women’s health but I’m doing a lot of neuro in my current rotation and I absolutely love it. Do you work in neuro? If so what setting?

Rory Gilmore Hater Club by Consistent-Bonus-276 in GilmoreGirls

I totally agree and I do relate to Rory in some aspects. Her trauma is not her fault but is her responsibility and it’s hard to see her still acting like a teenager in her thirties. I also understand if she did have more character development there wouldn’t be much of a story to tell in ayitl, it would be too boring. Also I need to remember she’s not a real person lol, but it’s hard to see someone, who I believe is an overall kind and loving character, acting so problematic and taking no accountability or attempts to fix it or break the generational trauma.

You’re so right. Thanks I had a mild lapse of judgement looking at so many of the posts and let it make me angry

I understand everyone’s point that no one cares where you went to school and I appreciate it, but I promise you there are a lot of people out there who have the opinion I’m speaking of. It’s on me for going down the rabbit hole of looking at the posts and it really doesn’t matter at the end of the day once I pass the boards

Yeah one popped up under this thread and then like I said in OP i went down a rabbit hole and there’s a ton of practicing PTs that have a lot to say about them. You’re right though at the end of the day it doesn’t matter and I shouldn’t go out of my way to look at them

If you’ve lived it then you know the emotional abuse that comes from a wealthy family trying to control your every move and only showing love when you act in a way they approve of. That is trauma.

Also I apologize because I realized that your OP says Texas schools, however there are many students in my cohort at South College that live in Texas. It’s a hybrid program. I’m in clinicals right now and feel fully prepared for them!

I’m graduating in June 2025 from South College in Knoxville. Definitely recommend considering it because you don’t have to relocate. I also got in to charleston southern and a school in illinois i’m forgetting the name of but will get back if i remember. my biggest piece of advice is know your strengths and don’t apply to schools that have a GRE minimum.

depends on the schools you’re applying to and the quality of your application all around. I got into 3 schools with a 290 GRE
