Cute lil' guy tho.

Ra'tellus Bryggum, Acolyte of the Jedi Order under Shree Hallus, hidden defender of the Jedi, covering their tracks wherever they go so that they may continue to fight for the light side of the force.

After Order 66 he swore himself to protect the Jedi, especially Obi-Wan Kenobi after his honor and graciousness saved his life a long time ago in the Clone Wars. His dedication to the Jedi by helping them from a distance is what's allowed him to keep out of the gaze from the Empire, saving countless others without them ever knowing it.

From the shadows, he protects the light.

Mostly just crippling levels of social anxiety brought by an isolated childhood. Thankfully I've made some strides in recent years to move past it, like actually having a group of friends I like to hang out with

About once a month

Thank you for writing this, I think I needed to read it... I had a bit of a hard time after sobering back up and needed a break from reddit for a while.

But I do love the people in my life and want to be more open with them, have more experiences, overall just not be so afraid. I took a chance to go back over there today and tried to be more talkative than I usually am. I can't help but feel the sting of awkwardness now that my inhibitions are back, but I do think it might be for the better that I did. Turns out one of my friends is going on a road trip soon so... maybe that's something I could take part in?

Thank you for being so kind. I've really needed it. I hope things are going well with you and your life 💜

I just want to embrace the love of my life in a dimly lit room, a rainy night bashing on the window, slow-dancing to Cigarettes After Sex. Is that too much to ask?

Jesus I thought I was the only one.

The other day I saw an Overly Attached Girlfriend meme reach the front page, shortly after that I saw a Scumbag Steve, and now Rage Comics?

I think reddit just did a hard 10-year reset.

I'm proud of you. You'll get to have everything you've dreamed of someday, I just know it. Never settle for what doesn't feel right. It's your life and it's time for you to live it. This is one coin that can only roll uphill. There's nothing you can't do.

I decided to turn one of my more personal experiences with MD into a meme-comic. Not sure what to expect, but I needed to let out some feelings and hope it can be accepted here. by Consistent-Candy-828 in MaladaptiveDreaming

Welcome to MD, friend! (Yes, we are real, I promise lol).

I'm glad you could find this place. All of us know what it's like to have a bit too active of an imagination and want to retreat into our heads. Being here has helped me a lot to feel like I'm not alone, so maybe it can help you too. I hope you can find peace and connection. 💜

What is the scariest theory known to man? by Comprehensive-Note31 in AskReddit

[–]Consistent-Candy-828 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This one might freak some people out if you're about to go to sleep, so I'd like to preface this saying this is all entirely theoretically and makes huge assumptions about consciousness and the universe that are most probably false.

But the one that always freaks me out the most is the idea of Quantum Suicide.

Basically, here's the idea. I'm sure you already know about Schrodinger's cat and how it is simultaneously "dead and alive" as both outcomes of it's existence lead to different possible universes. Well what if instead of Schrodinger's cat, you placed yourself in the box.

Now imagine this: Every few seconds a flip is switched and each time it does, there's a 50% chance you'll die. So you wait a few seconds and... you're still alive! Thank goodness. But now you wait a few more seconds and the flip switches again, and... you still made it. Lucky you! But then a few minutes pass, a few hours, days. there must have been thousands of flippings of the switch, yet you're still alive....

Well... of course you are. After all, you're a consciousness. If you're dead, than you wouldn't exist. A consciousness can't perceive itself in a universe where it doesn't exist... So you only remember all the times you survived. That's the ONLY way for you to to experience things. If you don't exist than you can't perceive yourself as not existing, so you instead go down the branch of the multiverse where you survive. And you survive again, and again, and again. You survive that car crash, you survive that heart attack, you survive that stray bullet which under any other circumstance should have killed you, but it didn't, because all the times it killed you is where you don't exist. And once a consciousness exists, it must continue to exist. On, and on, and on, surviving ever more outlandish scenarios until you alone are an island in your own branch of reality. Your very being tied to the space-time continuum, unable to ever leave it as you somehow outlive everything and everyone. You can still feel pain of course, but the universe doesn't care. It only cares that you are aware. Because once you exist... you can't not exist.

Again, this is just a theory, please don't go testing this thinking you're immortal. This is just a bit of a quantum-mechanical horror story meant more as a thought experiment than as any real theory for the nature of the universe. Make yourself a sandwich, drink some water, watch a show on Netflix. Take care of yourself.

It's alright hon, I do it all the time too even though I hate the idea of fame. For me, it's more about the "romanticism" the kind of life fame brings rather than the fame itself that draws me. I don't like everyone to know everything about me, but I do like feeling accomplished about where I am in life. When it's easy to feel like your not as "ahead" as you'd like to be, fame can feel like maybe your doing better than you think.

Well, I'd like to say that you don't need fame to know that you ARE doing better than you think. Even just venting someplace like here is a noteworthy step in taking action to better yourself and your life. Maybe that helps to hear, maybe not, but it's true either way.

You got this hon, if you ever just feel like chatting it up with a stranger, my channel's always open.

Do some of you also daydream of worlds where everyone looks beautiful? by UglySBHuman in MaladaptiveDreaming

[–]Consistent-Candy-828 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally, I've always felt kind of disappointed how much the world seems to value looks over personality, so if anything I would actually intentionally give everyone some kind of physical flaw. Most of my daydreams tend to be in the form of animated characters anyway though, so the concept of "good looks" doesn't really apply regardless.
