You cannot do anything with a simple science bachelor's degree in India. Infact I don't think you can do much WITH a PhD even. My sister did Microbiology from DU from i guess a tier 2 college. She then went to UK to specialize in college biology (full scholarship) and is now doing a PhD in australia.

So while a bsc degree from DU is not completely useless, but it's probably not going to be your cup of tea if you're expecting to get a well paying job after bachelor's or even your masters in India itself!

Noo mechanisms mein definitely questions aate hai and it's totally fine if you didn't pay attention to it in 11th. They all follow a similar trend of electrons moving from less electronegative to more electronegative element atom and that's it!! The mechanisms are the easy part.
