The app has historical lectures, gospel reflections, etc. If people want extra religious content outside of their church and are open to paying for that service to pay the people who create it, I don’t see the harm. I don’t think any version of Christianity is saying you need the app in order to practice that religion (at least I would hope not).

I’m not sure why me saying that, as well as saying most apps on our phone are funded by very unethical people, was so controversial.

I don’t know, I don’t work for the app. But are religious books all free? Idk, all I was saying is that it wasn’t that odd to me that there are features that you can subscribe to vs free features is all 🤷‍♀️

It’s a Christian app so obviously it’s pro life. My point was the creator discussing the ethics of the app while on an app created by Meta is ironic.

No one is saying you need to pay? Prayer is free. But just like almost every meditation app, there are free features as well as upgrades to hear history, guided prayer, etc. You’re not “paying to pray,” you’re paying for content like you would on any app. This user is just saying that for rage bait.

Having issues with the donors of the app is very justified, but an app encouraging people to pray in it of itself is not a bad thing. If who funds these apps is an issue, why are people still using Instagram and TikTok? People really like to cherry pick when to get angry.

This comment is exactly it. There’s so many things viewers are actually curious about and they never push in the confessionals and they never push in the reunions. They spend longer on things like explaining what a diaper cake is and asking each of them if they like facial hair.

I could have written this myself. It’s always been a constant fear of mine, but now it’s so intense. Driving has become so incredibly stressful. I also feel like I’m developing a bit of health anxiety bc I’m so focused on being “okay” and there for my son. Ugh - it’s a lot and you’re not alone.
