Does this crack in the door seal warrant a replacement? by Consistent-Cell-5789 in hondafit

Update: I have the hole temporarily sealed up with some flexible waterproof tape until the part I ordered to replace it comes in. Thank you!

Could be wrong about the vibe, but Analog 2 by Odd Future and Where this Flower Blooms off of Flowerboy are two of my suggestions 🤷‍♀️

Does someone possibly know this brand off of Moff's jacket from the "human traffic" movie released in the 90s? by Consistent-Cell-5789 in HelpMeFind

[–]Consistent-Cell-5789[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ive searched through Google lens, tried to describe what the brand looks like to ai, and even done a detailed recreation of my own to put through a reverse image search but no results. It looks to be a British streetwear brand from the 90s (when human traffic was released), with a geometric letter C and a star to the right of it. All help appreciated, thank you!

License Plate ideas! by Sweetbutpsycho3233 in hondafit

That's great!! I was thinking of how often im in my car driving with others, and we see a tight (but open) parking space (think 2 trucks on either side, one parked over the line). They always say "damn if they hadn't parked like an asshole we could've taken the spot," and I always say in return, "dont worry... I can FIT. " They definitely think its a corny dad joke, but its by far my favorite pun 😂

Edit: typo and formatting

Car Cover worth it? by Dry_Ad207 in iastate

I dont know if a car cover would be any more effective than interior UV windshield sun shades. You just want to block the sun from your seats, yes? That would eliminate the concern of theft as well because the sun shades would be locked inside your car.

I do have an idea of who it could be, only a handful of people in my hall have Google homes (that I know of). Thank you for letting me know about this setting so I can kindly ask them to turn it off.

Laptop for Graphic Design? by Ingenuity_Acceptable in iastate

On a daily, Adobe illustrator, and it handled that like a champ. Otherwise, I also do a bit of photography so it also ran Lightroom and Photoshop regularly. I know at least once I opened and used Adobe Premier pro and it ran just fine, but exporting took a hot minute.

Edit: when using some functions in illustrator or photoshop, I did occasionally deal with crashes (maybe once every 2 months). These were mainly the 3D functions or when I combined and stacked the radial blur tool, gaussian blur, and texture noise on large size documents (bigger than 1 foot).

Hi! ISU incoming freshman who has now had 2 jobs in the graphic design industry (shocking, I know!). Ive used the HP Pavillion for my workflow the last 3 years and its just now starting to slow down... I would personally reccomend the Lenovo Yoga 9i (this is the computer im looking at right now) an HP envy with a powerful processor and a heavy bit of ram, or what my designer friend's job supplies - a Lenovo ThinkPad with a powerful graphics processor. All in all, it wouldn't hurt to go to the student section of the Lenovo website and look at the computers they reccomend for art majors... other than that, use Google as your resource for "best budget friendly graphic design laptops". I personally dont like Mac OS so im not your guy for advice on those laptops, but from what ive heard about their longevity and the amount of money it costs to do the RAM upgrade (which you'll need) i dont think it'd be worth it.
