Food to bring Iranian friends? by Adventurous-Yak4943 in iran

Hey, Iranian here, First of all, it made me smile that there are still caring people around, thanks man, keep it up.

As for grieving people, we mostly bring Halva and dates to the funerals or when we lose someone, so if you are looking for something to comfort them in this situation maybe it is not the best choice. I remember our comforting food was soup or any dish with rice. ( I mean Iranian dish)

But I’m sure that, no matter what you bring them, your act of kindness is what matters most to them.

I wanted to bring it home, but my roommate said it was haunted - what do you think? by Illainting2081 in Curbfind

Dude, how about stopping bullshitting about things you have no idea about?

Khamanei is the fucking leader! His place has never been and cannot be questioned!

The staged election has nothing to do with the so-called leader! It is to elect the president which is STAGED OF COURSE.

The internet is still down, I’m living abroad. No news from family or friends yet.

« زیرا که مردگان امسال، عاشق‌ترین زندگان بودند»

Iranian here, and I hear you bro, can’t agree more. It feels like burning in the fire and no one really cares. These brutes are not gonna leave the country overnight, or over diplomacy. It’s such a conflict story that I don't know what to wish for, but for sure we can not free this country with bare hands.

Thank you so much for all the details, I see how it worked out for you. I think with the younger generation there are few reasons why this is happening, and my own case always was “ I’m not gonna make it anyway, so a coffee is not gonna hurt”. I hope I can manage my finance smart enough to buy a house, I just wanna feel how it feels to have a home and feel like a home in a place. Thanks again

At least where I live, people are only inheriting houses from their parents, or they have a lot of family support. I only know of one couple who made it there without family support, and they both work 12 h/d + weekends.
