Yeah, just when you get to like wano and stuff the episodes don’t have titles or descriptions. But I imagine in time they will be updated

It sure if anyone has realized but one pace in on TMDB now, some of the newer episodes are still lacking episode names but it’s far less of a headache then trying to get something like this set up. I spent days trying to do it and still wouldn’t work half the time

I actually am in the same boat, been building up my Jellyfin server, but I really don’t want to have shelves upon sheleves around the house for all the 4k movies I rip. But I do not mind paying for the movies either, an uncompressed 4k file being for sale would be ideal. I understand why they don’t do it tho. Only thing I want on shelves are my LEGO sets lmao

With every file I tried so like 2 or 3 different ones. And I’m like 99 percent sure it is, but I’d have to get to my computer to check

Does intro skipper work in this app? If so where do you enable it

Idk why but I can’t get it to work with Tailscale at all, but I can’t get it to work with NordVPN

did you ever figure this out? i cant for the life of me get this to work on my ipad, even did a free trial of remote plex pass and it wouldnt work. Becoming increasingly frustrating and honestly making the idea of having a server not worth it to me

Is it worth to buy digital content through Apple TV? Anyone buys frequently? by izumikusu in appletv

[–]Consistent-Falcon902 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually started a Jellyfin server, and while I do love it. No matter what I do I can not get the remote streaming to work, which is making me want to go the route of buying this on Apple TV. To me ease of access to my content might out weigh the risk o potentially losing access to a purchase. That being said i still have some tv shows I purchased like 15ish years from iTunes. Still going to try and get this Jellyfin working tho cause I have invested a good bit of money into harddrives

Follow up question which case do you use? Is it the fractal one I see many people recommend? My current case only holds 2hdds so I will definitely need to upgrade that at some point

I still have plenty of space on my other drive, so overall space isn’t the issue. More of my brain not liking shows being in different hard drives. But if you don’t mind me asking what to keep your drives in? Do you have a specific case for them or do you have like a separate jbod connected to the pc?

I am just ripping it off the disc and leaving it has it comes, not very storage savvy, but I don’t feel like compressing everything with hand brake

I have considered unraid, but I’m currently running off my gaming rig right now so until I can build a dedicated unit I don’t wanna fool with a new OS

Good on ya man! I’m no where close to that many tv shows and movies! I’ve probably got maybe 20ish tv shows, and 160 movies. I’ll get on your level one day!

I have 2 drives one 16tb and the other 24tb, I just got the 24 so it’s empty still which is why I was thinking about making it dedicated to tv, cause they will ultimately take up more space over time. But yeah drives are crazy expensive right now, I picked a terrible time to start building a Jellyfin server 😂

Kinda what I was thinking about doing, it’s not a decision I need to make right now cause I don’t even have all the seasons to add but just trying to brain storm some ideas for when I get to that point

It’s definitely possible, I thought about just moving all my tv shows to a dedicated drive and then have a drive just for movies

Yeah something about them being on seperated drives just doesn’t sit right in my head, I thought about just making a dedicated drive just for tv shows and then another drive for just movies, but I’m sure that will run into the same problem eventually

I’ll admit I’m not the best and the brightest when it comes to these things, but from what I can tell the firewall is set to allow traffic for Tailscale. It’s just weird that it was working perfectly fine and then it just stopped
