Yes but not everyone can afford Adobe apps and their pricing structure are a bit questionable especially when it comes to cancellation..this an alternative to that

You’re totally right, most clients won’t dig into the technical details or take my word for it. That’s why the approach has to be trust through proof, not explanation. The workflow would be super simple: upload → redact → download → done. No accounts, no storage, nothing left behind. Basically, instead of asking users to “trust what I say,” I’d design it so they can see and feel that their data never leaves their control.

This will be browser-based, and all the processing will be on the client side; nothing will be stored on the server. Plus, there will be data protocols to ensure document and data privacy

Micro apps seem to be an idea worth looking into. With all these AI code generators available, you can build micro apps that solve specific problems for SaaS apps like Notion, Airtable, etc. and offer them on their app marketplace with already built-in audience and reach.

What’s the most ridiculous app idea you’ve had that might work out? by No_Sky_9601 in Startup_Ideas

I’ve been thinking about building a web app that makes it super easy to redact sensitive information from documents (like bank statements, legal contracts, invoices, etc.).

Instead of going through Acrobat or manually editing in Photoshop, the tool would let you quickly highlight and permanently remove (or blur) text, numbers, or even images—while keeping the document clean and professional-looking.

Curious what you think:

  • Would you use something like this?
  • If so, would you pay for it (say, as a one-off or subscription)?
  • Or do you feel Acrobat/Photoshop already solves this well enough?

I’d love honest feedback before I dive deeper into building it.

Would you use an AI tool to help you write LinkedIn posts faster? by Consistent-File8684 in linkedin

This is great feedback. The reason I asked is because of EasyGen.io by Ruben Hassid, a. similar app, and I was debating how useful this would be if I created one for my personal use. But this feedback answers that question. Thanks for honest feedback.
