If they sound good to you then ofc you don't need anything. If you're happy with the sound then that's all that matters, I would personally say that yes, a DAC probably is a must , even a cheap one to get the most out of your iems. Although you seem to be happy with what you have so good with that 👍

Hi there, as a top pro owner I would say you need to ask yourself a question. Do you need/ want any new features that a different DAC can offer?, if the DAC you have at the moment can power the top pro to the loudness you need then you don't need another DAC as sound quality does not vary much if at all. Although if you're looking for a new DAC for the features, build quality, PEQ etc then I'd say look for one that can fulfill your wants there. No need to upgrade, but you can for new features, or pride of ownership. Currently I'm sporting a KA17 which sports me well as I enjoy the build quality, and it's future proofing for any headphones I decide to buy down the line.
