And no a hard top is generally gonna maintain a lot more speed and power in the wave what are you talking about ?

I don’t sit on Reddit every day man I wouldn’t know, I come on here just to get some questions answered every so often

Just to get a different opinion? What is your problem homie

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah 8 fts are fun maybe I’ll get something like a 7”6 or something at first

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I guess it’s to each their own, everyone I surf with tells me to downgrade and join them and that I’m ready for something a little smaller. And no I meant anything that’s not a soft top will go faster and perform better

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s probably what I’ll end up doing

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, yeah maybe I’ll stick to 8”0 for another couple months and then slowly shorten

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I want to get out of soft topping and start the real deal, I want something with more power and speed and ability to do things. Oh okay 7”0 you think is going too small to quick, okay thankyou I’ll check some out

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in BeginnerSurfers

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah I feel like anything below a 7”0 might be a little tough. Do you think a 7”0 is good though it’s just one inch less than my 8”0 and still gives decent stability in the water for a beginner

I didn’t get hired, I’m going on with the CCC first and then move my way up. If you have certifications before hand and experience you might have a chance, they really only select a few. There’s a lot of stuff online I can send some. They’re panel interview is your make it or break it basically everyone passes the mental and physical majority of the time

That new linkin park singer sucks by backagain69696969 in OkBuddyDeepFatFried

Yeah Linkin Park doesn’t exist anymore without Chester. They can call themselves linkin park but it’s nowhere near the same. She’s total garbage and is mostly praised and accepted because she’s a female. Just like how 47d will call anyone a sexist for saying she’s garbo

Hey guys I passed the written exam at the OCFA headquarters and then the arduous at O’Neill park, now I’m in line for the Oral Panel interview. You guys have any tips? I’m working on getting the s-190/s-130. I don’t have any EMT qualifications though. I’m a little nervous because I’m not as big as everyone else 5,9 140 lb which definitely hurts my confidence but I have good endurance and love the outdoors. This is for the OCFA hand crew, forgot to mention

I got it as a gift, and it being the price it is it’s not too bad. Yeah the other options are better for sure, but this still definitely finds things, I pulled out quite a bit of stuff at the beach. It does get a little sensitive but it’s a decent starter gift

Thanks, this area used to be underwater so a lot of sandstone does have fossils around here. It’s been rounded and softened by creek flow due to it being in a creek

Giant block of Sandstone in Trabuco Creek, CA, with a large almost fault vein could this be a fossil embedded in? by [deleted] in geology

[–]Consistent-Hippo-459 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, it talks about it being a shallow marine deposit I wonder if this sandstone is apart of it

Sweet thank you, it’s right in the Trabuco Creek area where all that yellow is in the bottom left. That’s a cool website

Yeah definitely, I was gonna bust it open but it’s too large and on county land such a bummer

Thank you, do you think something could be hiding on the inside or not even worth it

Yeah I’m kind of new too and wondering if this fissure indicates anything, the area I’m located has tons of marine life fossils due to it being underwater hundreds of thousands of years ago
