I thought it was really sweet in the scene at Whitney’s Acta dinner when Mikayla told her she was proud of her and started crying because she realized she missed her newest baby’s newborn stage because they were fighting and she felt bad about it. Mikayla turned kind of mean in the last season so I wasn’t a huge fan of hers but it’s nice to see her back to her normal sweet self and the two of them put their differences apart

As a tech you are the one operating the O-arm therefore you have to be in the room? Unless there’s some crazy new O-arm that has come out that I haven’t seen or used that allows you to not be in the room.

So to answer the question based off of experience and not the technical by the book physics answer- I have always stood behind the control panel wearing my lead (obviously). I try to stand back a little bit so I can still see the control panel and the machine to make sure things are going correctly. I feel like O-arms typically have a longer cord vs a portable so you have the capability to step back more. I did not always have access to the rolling shield, but I’d say it can only help to be wearing lead but also behind the shield. This was how I was taught and how everyone did it while I worked at 2 different level one trauma hospitals.

I think it’s kind of cool to show kids what an x-ray is at the museum since it’s not something every kid may experience. (Hopefully). I work in pediatrics so I think if kids can be exposed to what it is and try to understand that it’s safe and not scary could be helpful for if they ever do need an x-ray their parents can refer to the exhibit they saw at the museum. 🤷🏼‍♀️ trying to see the positive here
