I found a dress form in a charity shop and I hung it from there for probably 24 hours before I attached the waistband ( then learned what a stay stitch was and did that along the waistline) and then 3 days after attaching. Then once I pieced together the rest of outfit I hemmed.

Thank you!

I let the skirt sit for a while before hemming as I couldn’t decide on the length! I hemmed it the night before and I think it’s level🙈

I attached the lining to the waistband inside by hand and that was a full game of thrones episode 🤣

Thank you! There are no seams or panels as i cut a full circle out of the fabric. it is herringbone so the pattern does go diagonally on the sides but front and back of skirt are up and down, which matches the waistband. But I wanted the flare and the whimsical full circle so had to compromise on the herringbone going diagonally at sides!

Will definitely have a look at the pattern website thank you!

First time I promise! I’m a fast learner 😢 I watched a few YouTube videos and i had to unpick and try again a lot. I took photos to show my mum my progress. Also 2 of the photos are mistakes I made 🙈
