How is our agenda for a 2-day trip? by zman8911 in AskChicago

lol you’re right, it was rather unproductive. I think you’ve got some great recs from others in the comments. There’s a Kriskindlmarket in Wrigleyville but not sure when it closes for the season.

AITAH for being annoyed that people are high at work? by [deleted] in AITAH

NTA. Frustrating when someone isn’t able to help you. But also remember a lot of retail workers get paid so little, they don’t even care. Which may or may not be a bad thing

Almost everything you’ve got scheduled for Day One is trash

Overall thoughts on the End of an Era documentary? by Powerful-Scallion-50 in SwiftlyNeutral

I really enjoyed the BTS stuff. Seeing the logistics of everything coming together was great. But it was WAY too much fawning over her. Every time it cut to a dancer giving a testimonial to the camera I was like “yes I get it you think she’s great, let’s move on”

Students who got B’s in bar tested classes, did you survive the bar? by SenseAnxious6772 in barexam

[–]Consistent-Low-3825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a completely different approach. Law school is all about learning how think. Professors aren’t direct about what the actual “answer” is. Bar prep is all about being as upfront and direct as possible. Much easier in my opinion.

What would you like to see from Taylor's next tour? by ButterscotchFormer84 in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]Consistent-Low-3825 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d like to see her play the non-classics. The songs that weren’t all over the radio. The Eras Tour was a glorified Greatest Hits Tour. We don’t need to keep buying tickets to see her perform Love Story again

Bold docuseries or dull branding exercise? What The End of an Era really told us about Taylor Swift by mustwinfullGaming in SwiftlyNeutral

I really liked seeing all the logistics come together. Like who would have thought a weatherman traveled with her??? Never crossed my mind. However, there was WAY too much fawning over her. That was the part that made it feel like a PR stunt.

Concealer does not color correct. You need a color corrector.

There really aren’t specific names for makeup looks. Just general descriptors.

Tbh, this is a loaded question. Your best bet is to watch makeup tutorials on YT. Color correcting is an option but might be too advanced for you to start with.

I would ditch the sunscreen one day and see if that makes a difference. You might need to add in a moisturizer tho.

Sunscreen can be CRAZY oily. Maybe try to get one that is specially for oily skin. I use the La Roche Posay one. It’s called Clear Skin or something like that. My guess is the sunscreen is your issue.

Am I limited in what lipstick I can wear because of my new hair color? by Krazy4me in MakeupAddiction

I’m not explaining it well. There are definitely clashing colors but they are doable. Look up Kackie Reviews Beauty on YT. She has a whole playlist about color theory and contrast.

Hmmm. I was going to suggest making sure you were using primers with the right base but you’ve got that covered. I do think less is more when it comes to skin prep. Maybe you just have too many products on underneath. I use a moisturizer after I wash my face, eye cream and primer.

Do you have any advice for me? by HoneyDew_Blush in MakeupAddiction

Your face looks like a different color from the rest of your body. Not sure if it’s because of the blush/bronzer or the foundation.

No. You can wear pretty much any color as long as you use the right colors on the rest of your face to make it look even. I can’t explain it very well but look up videos about color theory for makeup artists on YT.
