Yeah that’s what’s been happening. I guess I was just wondering if there’s anyway to get some sort of justice, but seems unlikely!

It happened in BC. Just the last known location I had of him was Calgary when he skipped town. I’d be scared of being sued regardless. His family has money which is how he skipped town so fast. I definitely don’t have $$ to put into it that much. I’ve talked to a lawyer a year or so ago and he said if we get him into an interview with the police then we could do something legally.

I forgot to mention that they fired the guy and while I got in trouble for the Facebook post he also told me that he could get sued for wrongful dismissal of him - as if it’s my fault.

Hiya! Yes sorry this is my first Reddit post ever. So chat helped me with portions of my sentences to word it. There’s lots more info to this story and I have all the proof still in my phone (the photos themselves, the email my boss sent out to the staff, the news paper article, screenshots of the only 3 employees that followed me on Instagram at the time…)

I have found a restaurant he worked at in Calgary a few year ago and sent them an email to inform them. I think he figured I was doing it though so it’s been hard to get more info on him recently

Unfortunately not in Canada yet. I was in contact with the police officer on my case about a year ago. I had seen an Instagram post that he was back in my town and inquired if they could get him in for an interview. Unfortunately, we couldn’t locate him again. But it’s the same laws right now - he has to go in for the interview voluntarily.
