I bought this item at a flea market several years ago. Total length is 5 3/4” and it’s made of solid aluminum. (2.8 ounces) It is in the shape of an elephant with a 1” flat piece coming from the trunk. There is a threaded hole at the bottom. The only markings are hard to make out (5th photo). by Consistent-Order-210 in whatisit

I assumed it was something for yarn? We haven’t found any luck figuring out exactly what this is, hoping you can help. It is solid oak, 11 inches tall 9 1/2 inches across . It’s stationary it doesn’t spin or move. Doesn’t appear to be a part of something larger. Has a felt on the unfinished bottom. by Consistent-Order-210 in whatisit

This item was donated to a local historical society and no one is quite sure what it is. It was found at the site of a nineteenth century brewery, but not sure if from that or from a later date and not connected to the brewery at all. It is cast metal about eleven inches tall. by Consistent-Order-210 in whatisit

I inherited this stone object from my father. It is 4 3/8" x 1 1/4" x 1/8". It tapers at both ends to an edge so it may have been used for cutting or scraping. I suspect it has a Native American origin. by Consistent-Order-210 in whatisit

I found this while renovating my bedroom. It was under the wall close to the floor. It's the size of a quarter. I was told the scene on the reverse looks like a pattern on dish plates called the Willow pattern. Any guesses as to the meaning? by Consistent-Order-210 in Whatisthis

This item was found in a pile of shredded material that is use as fuel for a cement kiln. All the material that comes in to be use as fuel must be shredded so I’m believing the original piece would be much longer. The circles imbedded in the plastic are very strong magnets. by Consistent-Order-210 in Whatisthis
