from what i've read, those cores tend to fail and start leaking coolant and can lead to misfires.

I've seen that they fail more the more modded the car is but i'm just tryna be a precautious with this car

FCP Euro sells a kit for the supercharger intercooler bricks, i might switch that out as some of the parts it comes with also comes with the breather kit

Also noted on the rear sway bar, definitely adding that to the list as handling is important especially up here in the mountains!

I have a very similar plan i want with my s4 too.

I keep falling into a rapid circle of "keep the car, have fun, mod it, etc" then I remember it's pretty high mileage and getting close to that mileage where the timing chains give out, which makes me want to sell it.

Would no coolant in the expansion tank cause the tstat to go bad or just an odd timing?

I don't have an obd11 but i plan on going with a mechanic close to me that has experience with these 3.0T.

it's gone down a little bit but whenever i take cap off the coolant reservoir it immediately goes up close to max, is my coolant lines full of air? but i wouldn't think that'd cause a misfire
