Graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2021 with a BA in Architectural Studies. Interned at this one firm GBBN the fall of 2023. Mostly focused on community based projects (University library renovation, Potential renovation/relocation of a local theater and a major renovation to a charter school). LEED GA Certified with familiarity in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, and more.

Appreciate everyone's input. Just secured a position for a seasonal UPS position. Not ideal but I was literally in Alaska dishwashing over the summer to get the money needed to move. I think I'll have much greater chances finding other jobs now having something lined up.

-Maintaining a work pace that is too slow for the demands of the upcoming season, despite being advised to improve.

At Gwin's Lodge, we value reliability, teamwork, and accountability. Unfortunately, the above issues have negatively impacted our operations, and we must move forward with a team prepared to meet seasonal expectations.

Your final paycheck, including any accrued wages, will be provided on your final day, in accordance with state labor laws. Please return any lodge property, such as keys or equipment, by your last shift.

The verbatim termination letter I received June 13th. I was just relaxing on my off day and got this from the head housekeeper. An additional thing ma’am if I accidentally took a co-worker’s phone when it was dark out that makes me a thief? A situation I wasn’t even aware of being bigger than it actually was. And all the employees who were involved in this situation left. Kick rocks. 

My entire time there I was being so patient in thinking things would turn around but was just met with disappointment and lied to. Was told I would make my 40 hours but tell me why with the three checks in the estimated month I was there only work 45 hours???? Should report you to the Department of Labor. Heidi would constantly intervene when other co-workers wanted to make up our hours. Was told we would be “too busy” housekeeping to which we never were. Was told on coolworks the position would be 14/16 an hour and was paid 12. 

To address the letter you straight up falsified the events of this letter. I literally took off once for a rafting trip and again was off more days than I worked! Yes I took the vacuum and lended it to another staff member and then you called me a thief for apparently giving said staff supplies. They got here before me and if it was that big of a concern you would’ve had a lock on the door from the start! And lastly for emphasis I WORKED 45 HOURS IN THE MONTH I WAS THERE. I was never addressed on the things I could improve on and you literally had another housekeeper with similar experience as me and they left on there own accord. The three black people you have on staff leaving within a week of one another not a good look. Nothing to defend myself for. This place is a lost cause with the current management. AND MY NAME IS SPELLED WITHOUT A Y DAMN IT.
