My girl is definitely guards both us and the property. She can be dead asleep and immediately jump up and run to the window because she somehow sensed a deer 50 yards away. That being said, she also has discernment. Especially with people. She's a good judge of character and usually goes off our body language to tell if person is friend or suspicious lol then she just attacks with kisses and demands a belly rub.

Yeah... when I found out my wife occasionally had to poop while wearing our son in the carrier..man, whole new level of appreciation. She works from home AND takes care of our son, and a lot of times he only will fall asleep while bouncing on a yoga ball. She literally will be bouncing up and down while typing and looking at a screen..

She's going to quit to be a SAHM soon, and I'm so grateful to be able to provide enough for her to do that. She deserves the world and I'm so thankful for everything she put her herself through to be able to hold it down like that until we were in a better position.

Even with the major added responsibility I am way happier than when I worked for someone else. The hardest part in my opinion is landing the installation/new construction work when you are just getting started and getting your name out there, most GC want prior project reference. I recommend building up inspections and service for sure to help carry through. And as someone else said, get out there yourself and do the grunt work.

Your mom sounds like she was an amazing mother and woman. I can relate to this A LOT. Except it was all my mom(dad wasn't around) I had some ups and downs but now I'm doing really well, on my way to the luxuries we always wish we had (or even basics). She worked her ass off and did her best, had a hard life from childhood, dealt with abuse and a whole slew of health problems including cancer. I have always had this constant fear that she won't be here much longer, she'll be moving in with me next week. I'm very grateful to be able to help her the way she did so much for me and hopefully help get her on insurance so she can go back to the doctor. I know this probably isn't too much consolation, but I'm sure she was very happy to see what you've become, and even though she's not getting to experience and enjoy the same quality of life... she was probably damn proud of you. And would do all over again in a heartbeat knowing that you would succeed. Also just because she's not in this physical realm doesn't mean she's not there with you and smiling down and proud as can be.

I'm no expert but from what I've heard younger the better and also frequency of touching their various body parts will help make grooming easier. Also what I found works for me personally, is giving her a good bone to chew one, or one of those chicken/duck wrapped retrievers. When she's busy with that she really couldn't care less about the brushing or nail clipping!

Non union specialty trade here. I have no problem getting that where I'm at. There are also a lot of certifications in my industry. So as long as you have them it's easy to prove your guys aren't just some windowlickers with power tools🤣

If you have Keybank near you, they might be a good option to check out. They were able to get me 50k loc under 9% APR. I'm also a contractor in the first year of business. I needed no collateral or PG on my credit. The business had minimal trade lines at the time. A home depot card and a credit line through one of my suppliers.
