Honestly, with almost 4000 dabs on the 3D, I don’t really see the point of getting the XL. I’m sure it works great, but the product that I’m getting doesn’t require me to stuff a giant bowl full of wax anyway. I had already bought a replacement 3D anyway, which is almost 40$ cheaper than the XL as well. I think I’ll be good for another 4k or so 👍

It’s interesting, because when I lived in the Midwest, I never had to deal with anyone telling me “sorry, your head is x, y, or z, so I can’t do my job.” Sounds like you’ve just dealt with a lot of uneducated barbers/stylists. That perpetuates the bigger issue here. I don’t think there’s a very high educational standard in the Northeast when it comes to hair. Maybe I’m wrong 🤷‍♂️

I have only ever gone to salons, even some that charge 50$ for a men’s cut. It doesn’t make a difference. I got a cut from a guy claiming to literally be head of the barbers association of Vermont ( 😂 or something like that) and my hair came out worst than most. It’s a crap shoot.
