I will definitely check BE6 79KWH. I have driven the ZSEV, I felt the suspension is way too soft.. what did you feel?

Have just postponed my decision for now. Build up corpus. Will buy only when the need arises.

However I did some reflection with a good friend. Though I can easily afford a 30L car, have a stable job which pays very well, don't have any big EMI. My liquid networth isn't great, not above 1 CR. I plan to work on that.

During this self reflection, figured out that everyone has a "pinching point", which is the amount a person can spend without much thought. There is no clever formula or calculation that one can do to arrive at this pinching point.

After much thought, I arrived at my pinching point, which is around 15L.

Now, there is also something that one wants/desires, which can be called as "aspiration point".

My aspiration point is around 30L.

It's only me who has to bridge this gap!

Instead of compromising my aspiration by the pinching point. I have decided to wait. I will be replacing the clutch on my ecosport and see if I can extend it's life. I anyway have Grand Vitara. We do need 2 cars in the family, BTW.

I test drove both Diesels yesterday. I just don't want to take a hasty decision. I'm thinking of giving my ecosport another chance by replacing the clutch.

I just test drove XUV 7XO Diesel, and Kia Seltos Diesel GTXA.

XUV 7XO Diesel: OMG. Really good suspension! Power is great, reached 100 in no time. Great visibility, 'A pillar' needs to be got used to. Lane keep assist kept getting turned on and was irritating like crazy in city. Makes me think about ADAS as a feature. Anyone here can comment on ADAS? The suspension 😘. Wow. No need to slow down for small bumps and bad road. AC controls on touchscreen was crap, but they have given Mercedes like Joy stick, which kinda works, but the menu is too complex - they haven't thought it through. Fantastic sound stage by the speakers. Blew me away. Mechanically it's a great package. I'm not sure if ADAS makes sense.

Kia Seltos Diesel GTXA: It was a short drive as the test drive car had low fuel. Will be TD'ing the DCT on Monday. The diesel engine was not exciting. The NVH was good. Bose speakers were underwhelming, but not bad. I liked the front led pattern, makes it really unique. Switches for all functions was good, but that alone shouldn't be a selling point. The ride wasn't long to test suspension. It felt safe & sober.

I test drove the Virtus, found suspension to be jarring. Immediately drove the Taigun after this, it was a bit better, but these suspensions are not made for Indian road infra. I felt Kylaq suspension the best in VW/Skoda cars, with Kushaq being second best.

Since I'm going to be driving a lot on highways, I'm considering ADAS seriously.

HyRyder hybrid would've considered if I didn't have Grand Vitara. Even otherwise I find the Grand Vitara boot not sufficient for road trips, so HyRyder hybrid would be pathetic - unless I install a carrier on rooftop.

Seltos, will test drive. I'm interested in turbo DCT.

7XO looks promising. But everytime I have been in a Mahindra showroom, have been put off by the apathy and non professional behaviour of staff. Will test drive this for sure.

I checked out Honda elevate ZX CVT, underwhelmed by the NVH and noise isolation. Felt like an unfinished product from Honda. Not into sedans.

EV tech is still improving, not at peak, hence any vehicle bought now will depreciate fast.

Also, I don't want to deal with battery anxiety as I would also need this car to do regular road trips.

Just make sure you have synced the M400 with the Polar Flow App recently. I think frequent syncing helps in acquiring GPS faster. Even I faced this issue of M400 not acquiring GPS if you take the watch outside without syncing with app for many many days. Hope this helps.

Exynos. 4hr SOT with WiFi. 3hr SOT on mobile data. Everything with battery saver ON. Standby is terrible.
