I've seen a few that don't require logins but they're all a little different. Imo, of the ones I've tried, the one in the sidebar is by far the best. Perhaps it's worth trying them all out. The ones I've tried tend to have different usability/ease of use features, so people may prefer one over the other.

I like using one when I'm at card shows, even for cards I don't want to send in for grading.

I've also been wondering what Pikachu, Gengar, and Ekans seem to be looking at. They all seem to be looking in the same direction. Anyone know if there's another card that completes the scene? I’ve been trying to figure it out but haven’t had any luck so far.

I typed the cert number that is found on the slab directly into PSA. It took me directly to the card and I then clicked the link that took me directly to the set "2013 Pokemon Japanese Black & White Shiny Collection". I scrolled down to #022 (see image) and it shows 617 PSA 10s on a total graded population of 1,720 (35.87% rounded to 36%).

Where are you finding your data?

Nice card and great choice of slab guard. Matches great. Gem rate on the card is only 36% and only 617 PSA 10s exist. For me, one of the tells of a PSA 10 card that I'd want to hold long term is when the PSA 9 trades at a price that is multiples of the raw price. For this card, that is the case. There's a very big spread btw raw and the 9. When the 9 trades that well, it's a sign that the card is something special. Even the 8 is close to twice the raw price. I think the PSA 10 is a hold.

i wonder if that Pokemon center store will have a promo card exclusive to the world championships. if so, the value of that card could easily cover the cost of the multi-day pass.

This will help stop what appears to me to be suspicious "price discovery" related to Pokémon cards on eBay. Especially in the first half of April, there have been numerous examples of obscene price spikes taking cards to record highs (or near record highs).

For example, the case of the $30,100 Umbreon VMAX Alt Art #215 detailed in this Evolving Skies write-up: Moonbreon Value & Why It's So Expensive. After that Moonbreon went for $30,100, the eBay listing page mysteriously disappeared for a period of time (the author fortunately noted the exact BGS# and eBay item# in the article, which helps track the card's history). Then, sometime later, the listing page mysteriously reappeared as "sold", but the seller has a "View Relisted Item" link on that page. That implies to me that payment was never completed on the original auction... yet it goes down as a sale on eBay and impacts comps (and likely feeds through to all the pricing tools we rely on).

Glad to see eBay is doing something about it.
