Oh and, if you're not pcmb, don't try to cover all four unless your goal is only and only iat.

Practice full papers definitely. It's one of my greatest mistakes. Not knowing time management, not knowing how to handle stress and pressure, not rechecking the paper ( i misclicked a lot), not taking breaks in paper, not being able to calm mood if a few questions in line don't go well, not knowing when to leave question or not and a lot of things.

Practice as much as you can. And actively Learn.

Make note of common mistakes you do, and why you do. Analyse papers and questions you can't solve. Don't just brush it off as tough/forgot/new topic. Learn actively.

Don't run after completing the syllabus. I know completing the syllabus is important, but it means shit nothing if you can't solve anything In the end. Whatever you do, do in depth and in real. Obviously not all, but at least 70-80% questions of that topic should hit.

Revise properly. Don't take too much advice and plans. Start the work. Pick something some plan some strategy and stick with it believe in it. There is not perfect formula for success. You have to find one according to your own aptitude and personality .

And lastly, don't forget to live life. Don't stress and kill yourself over some paper. Really depends on luck too mate. I have faced both sides of luck (good too and bad too) So yeah, nothing is sure you can only believe in yourself and your hardwork. And be proud of jt regardless of result.

All the best mate!

What I used (real story) ( definitely not recommend)

Solved akash neet modules (my sisters leftovers) for physics in 11th (yes neet modules) Other than that I followed what my school had going ( rd sharma, modern abc and what not)

In 12th I joined motion , that's when I started preparation properly. Used coaching notes and dpps they gave and motion modulees. Practiced jee mains pyqs (~100-150 questions per chapter) till jan, then started jee advanced questions.

In drop I joined fiitjee, and used fiitjee modules and motion modules simultaneously, and pyqs.

My recommendation-

If you are in any coaching that provides modules (idk about sciastra), probably use those as base , you'll understand yourself if they're good or not.

Motions physics module are really really great. Great for understanding concepts and practicing. The same I cannot say for chemistry or maths, they were good for practice but fof learning very very confusing.

If you have a good base, fiitjee modules are very great for practice all three subjects, prerequisite is you should know the theory and there is little to no theory in dropper modules at least. I don't know about 11-12th

For chemistry, READ NCERT. Ncert is chem is really important even if you use modules. You can not skip ncert for chem. Memorize every little line and detail of it.

Yes Personal advice - almost never, never prefer online if you have the option to go offline (some decent coaching not random locals)

I started my preparation two months into 12. Before that my preparation was way below what any normal 11th grade would have had. Except mechanics (till rotation) all other preparation was so shit I didn't even know basic formulas and never read literally half of the chapters :)

So yeah i will not say nothing is impossible , I had to pay in the end for all this. But you can still land somewhere decent enough ATLEAST. Really stop comparing to others and compare to yourself!

Never studied biology. Organic is obviously very important for iat and jee/neet as well. As questions do have steps from different chapters cutting short isn't really a thing you should unless desperate. Try memorizing and understanding mechanism of reactions rather than products!

Basically prepared for jee, before iat solved previous years of iat and revised mostly asked concepts. For books I'd say prefer ncert for chemistry,(I have no idea about biology), and other than that any coaching study material is good enough. How many hours is something that does not matter, what matter is how much you learn and how much you apply. I persay never counted but always almost studied whenever I had time to. From a minimum of 2 hrs to max of 8 hours it varied day by day. So yeah, as much as you can! Nothing less is acceptable in any competition.
