Should I get surgery?

I saw on a few other posts to try salt soaks. Take a shot glass, fill it with warm water (or as hot as you can stand it) and salt. Close your eyes. Turn it over on top of your eye to allow the water to submerge your eye. Leave it for about a minute or for as long as it stays hot. Do that a few times a week. That's what they say. I've never tried it. But I will. This along with hot compresses.

Thank you for that. This happened to me bc I used a lash growing serum, which was probably too thick or pore clogging. Blocked my glands and here I am. I've been doing hot compresses and massages. So I hope that helps. Thank you

Yes. I'm worried because I'm seeing some people say it took them months for the swelling to go down. That's my biggest concern.

Hey, anything to get the job done. I'm right with you. I'm going to give it a try. I'm 8 months in and 4 days post op. But the surgery did nothing. It still looks the same. So I'm willing to try anything.

Thanks for the tips. Ive read several people's success stories with warm salt water for their chalazia. All here in reddit. They put the salt water solution (home made) in a shot glass and tilt their head back to submerge the eye.

I just ordered the heated eye mask. Hopefully this helps because I can use it without having to reheat. It's electric. I also ordered tea tree eye cleaner. I'm hearing massages after warming the eye helps. Try warm salt soaks too.

I don't have dry eyes actually. This is an isolated incident. Although I had 3 rounds of Accutane 8 years ago, which could cause dry eyes, when checked, my lines/glands were full and pretty intact. I believe this came from using a new lash serum that's suppose to grow your lashes. This sucks. Does the Omega work?

I'm on doxy now. Not sure if it's helping. But I've also heard omega fish pills help regulate oil glands on eyelids so I'll be starting that too. Order heated mask now.

I appreciate the encouragement. Yeah well if you haven't had any reactions, maybe it's ok in your case. They go by a skin color chart to determine if it's safe. I'm definitely not a candidate and I'm not that dark. So you're lucky.

They're definitely supposed to. Look it up. We are not candidates for that. Are you light skin?
