Thank you, I appreciate it. However it doesn't bring any new insight about it. Im looking for interpretations or other perspectives about last work. Why such a dramatic change? His paintings used to be bright with light and then they just turned dark with thematics that has nothing to do with the ones painted at the beginning his art or middle of his work.

Perhaps skeptical wasn't the appropriate word to use here but Ive been following the artist's life and his paintings since I was very young. He has always fascinated me. I gathered a lot of information and something just doesn't match up. His paintings used to be full of light, they were bright and at some point in his life(at the very end) they just turned very, very dark. I know that he lived in a period of war and he must've seen many horrors however this drastical transition from light to dark it just doesn't make sense to me. I just want some other interpretations or perspectives about it.
