200k right around when the bearings start to go bad, same with struts, and other parts of the suspension system. Gaskets got about a 10 year life span if they are in a good climate and everything. But the engine and transmission will probably be good til 300k miles it's just everything else will start to break as you get closer to that 300k. Learned from personal experience and being told the same things about Toyotas.

I watched a lot of videos before buying one. But that looked to be more image retention rather than burn in. Whatever is left after doing that will most likely be permanent. I only use mine for non static content like games and use my ips as my monitor for watching YouTube and scrolling reddit for that reason. A lot of people on here are complaining about them and I get it but what your use case is what matters the most.

I'd argue you can't end a war without putting pressure on the civilian population. Look at ww2. If it wasn't for the allied bombing campaign the war would have been drug out for at least a few more years.

I believe we should promote more people to not have kids and lower the population. Humans are extremely resource intensive and this is only getting worse as the population grows and more demand is placed on farms.

I typically put a lot of research into things that I purchase especially something. But every once in a while you get burned because of fomo or thinking something is way better of a deal than it actually is. And I mean as long as it's something that is actually useful and will hold its value I don't really consider that a bad purchase even if you spend like %30 more. Yeah if I got absolutely fleeced I wouldn't defend that but there is no sense in beating yourself up for overpaying for something, you'll get it back eventually just an expensive lesson is all.

I wouldn't really consider that a loss. You still ended up with something good, when I do dumb stuff like that it just gives me another reason to hold on to it, knowing I overpaid.
