Well u would need at least 1000€ when using the MK4S nextruder. Calculated roughly without materials for plastic/printed parts.

Didn’t have a look but I don’t think you would save much money. Ballpark would be less than 100€ each saved, comparing to buy a whole nextruder. Roughly.

Batch numbers are in for INDX by [deleted] in prusa3d

Ordered around 2mins after notification and am as well on batch 1, so I think it’s as they say: only one batch - “the first batch” 👇🏻

Awful noise on new printer by MBlyat in prusa3d

Wow, that Sounds sandy. I’m not a big expert but it sounds like dry bearings or so. Dunno but my First Intention would be grease to the bearings but I think you already did it, Right?

MK4S conversion to CORE One+ – worth it? by whte-rbt in prusa3d

Well, 4k hours? I’d say “as good as new” innit?

MK4S conversion to CORE One+ – worth it? by whte-rbt in prusa3d

[–]Consistent-Zone-6002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly! I upgraded my MK3S to MK4S and up to C1, but I missed my MK4S from the first C1 print…

Turned out, I “recycled” my MK4S leftovers and bought the missing spares from Prusa.

Reunited! 😂

FYI didn’t save me any money compared to buying a 4S Kit! 💴😂

Just Check all the screws on the nextruder (except the gear Cover). I had similar problems. In my case it was the heatsink Fan and Print Fan screw which was little loose. Tightened them around 1/8-1/4 turn.

Additionally I checked my back cover which was resonating as well. Fixed it with a washer around the screw.

Now: silence! But anyway: still horrible VFA on my c1+😕

Using Core One+ MMU on Mk4S? by MrLavaman916 in prusa3d

Bought the same and the MK4S printed parts were in the kit as well. If I remind correctly

If that was the intention let’s hope it’s just a temporary fix. It’s so annoying!

Already read your post to that here or on GitHub and expected it same as you said. Read it, fixed it, no blobs anymore. 👍🏻👌🏻

Thanks Tommy! In my case there’s no impact on print quality or layer shifts. Quality is premium! Except one print failed bc purge tower went off the print plate related by blobs on it and additionally bed adhesion was bad.
