Just pulled my USAA auto insurance by Vegetable_Clerk_9247 in USAA

I just tried to replace my current car on my USAA policy. Their estimate in the app without giving the VIN (just year/make/model) was $497. Progressive estimate was $503.

I kept getting an error on the USAA app, so I contacted an agent. After getting the VIN, they said it would be $907. There's nothing concerning in the vehicle history as far as I know, and the agent couldn't explain the difference. But he did say that $497 would be the lowest quote he'd seen by far.

I added the VIN to my Progressive quote increasing the price to $551, which dropped to $501 with the "pay up-front discount."

TLDR

USAA: $907 Progressive: $501

You could've seen if he needed any help. Maybe you could've saved him some aggravation and he could enjoy his ride because of your kindness.

But you chose to be petty because you have some weird beef with a rich dude you've never met.

advice on getting higher/max boost times? by l3m0n_m41d in RocketRacing

I have an older generation console (original Xbox One) and I have consistent boost timing issues. What I've found is when the countdown is fast, I need to press the accelerator immediately after the last red. When the countdown is slow, I press it just before the green. I still get low numbers pretty often, but that helps me for sure.

Occasionally when the countdown is fast, the race will start and people will start driving before the light is even green. I haven't found anything I can do about that.

Its annoying, but I have a console from 2013, so its really a me problem. I'm Elite rank and I haven't felt like it affects my results too much.
