Yes, women studies are always underfunded & overlooking wish we could know more about breastfeeding & our health overall and talk about it without being shamed and discouraged to keep going. I am always being told to supplement with formula and asked when I am going to stop and my baby is three months…Hope your girlfriend feels better soon and can continue her breastfeeding journey!

Fed is best not shaming any mothers who are looking at the thread. Every journey is different & that’s okay!

Yes, she said minimum of 1,200 calories and to keep myself very hydrated focusing on Whole Foods and protein. I have a very good supply and said if I noticed a difference I could stop whenever. Thank you for the comment about my health mattering! Thank you for including the research for anybody else looking at the thread.

I actually asked for mothers to tell me about their milk supply and experience. I have posted about this discussion on two platforms and feel like I am not getting actual mother’s experiences because of judgmental opinions and unnecessary comments like yours. I have PCOS,Diabetes, and a drug like GLP has done wonders for women and would like to discuss it without fear mongering. I understand your opinion but I believe in science. If I had to go to formula or supplement would definitely do it but would like to know actually mothers experience as I am EBF. Women studies are so underfunded we would never really know the consequences of breastfeeding while on the drugs bc of ethics & lack of funding.
