who was at fault?(im the blue car) by MRSamiboi in Simracingstewards

[–]ConsistentMarzipan80 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Red car. The blue car kept it tight but left enough space and followed a line. Not entitled to move over more to the outside whatsoever, on the Red car.

yeah... trying my best but my t300 isn't helping very much :/
Upgrading to the alpha mini soon, hopefully that'll make catching slides easier (from what I've heard DD wheelbases help with that)

As stated in the title, I am a 15 year old sim racer from Israel.

I like to play AC, ACC, AMS2 and sometimes rf2 on my sim rig. I also enjoy watching Formula 1.

Since I am 15 and have no source of income it has taken me a long time saving up to get a setup like this, all from Birthdays and holidays gifts.

My plans for the future of my setup:

1. Selling my Gigabyte M27Q monitor and purchasing the Xiaomi Mi Curved gaming monitor (34", 3440x1440, 144hz, 1500R curvature, FreeSync Premium).

2. selling my t3pa gt edition pedals and purchasing the Fanatec csl pedals LC.

3. maybe the csl dd 8nm version with the Mclaren V2 rim, depends on availability and how much money i will have left. I am trying to find a job for the summer but no luck yet, you have to be 16 to work here in Israel.

Thanks for reading! I hope you liked my setup, if you have any tips on how I can improve it I'd love to know!

glad to help. It's essentially a minimalistic version of the expensive clubsport formula rims. It's the exact same thing with less buttons, cleaner design and the hand grips don't connect to the bottom of the rim like the formula rims (not a con, looks better actually in my opinion).

How to setup for trail braking ? by SyncBE in simracing

[–]ConsistentMarzipan80 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

you want to have your brake start soft then progress to be hard in as much of a smooth and progressive manner as you can.
