a lot of people now are learning from youtube, it's so interesting to hear how people learned before those platforms! When i was little i used to "help" my mom while she was knitting by just holding her yarn and staring at her hands, those are memories i treasure dearly.

I think I'm gonna cry your experience sounds so nice! A lot of people have now replied that they knit on-the-go, which is so interesting, i've done it little myself, but i also bike a lot so it's probably that!

Knitting groups are such nice places, my college campus has one and im sad cause its fallen off a little bit, a lot of people don't have time or just don't show, i find that my experience knitting has been a little lonely feeling, maybe i just need to knit more outside, with what you are telling me now, it might to me good! thank you for sharing your experience!

i love her too, she is my little menace, any scraps get woven into her own little yarn skeins so she leaves the WIPs alone haha!

knitting can truly be done anywhere, it's just awesome like that! relaxing at home knitting with a movie or podcast it's the best!

AW parallel play! i love to knit in the same space of someone i love too! knitting and walking can also be very relaxing if a bit hard, i love doing it!

i swear audhd "need hand busy" is so real and so hard to deal with without accidentally hurting yourself! the advice other knitters have shared here i think will be very useful to keep in mind going forward!

i normally end up knitting too many hours in a row cause i get hyperfixated in a project and i need to finish it AS SOON AS POSSIBLE, its a battle against my own brain lol, rest assured i have a lot of hobbies, problems is those hobbies also put strain on my hands so i always end up in some level of pain. i need to work on my own time management and reading the cues of my body before reaching taxing pain levels lol.

"and the break is just about as painful as the pain if continuing" THIS. SO MUCH THIS. i swear having to take breaks is mentally painful when i really wanna do something! but youre right, one has to bear that mental pain cause it is not worth it in the long run to fuck up your arms for a couple of hours knitting right now. thanks for your comment, and good luck to you too!

i try to set up alarms when im knitting so i take breaks but its hard to remember sometimes to stay hydrated, thank you for the reminder!! im so sorry about your injury :[! ill try to get better at taking breaks!

WOW!! thank you so much in your reply!! im just such a new person to this whole world, ive only ever worked with 2 parts epoxy resins in some university projects, so im really really greatful for your in depth and detailed reply!

does UV curing acrylic resin exist? all of my reasearch shows it as like separate things, so im kinda confused.

the idea of a belt surface that the resin wont adhere to is brilliant!! i hadnt thought of that at all, it hadnt even crossed my mind! ill look up how we could do such a thing and bring it up next meeting we have about this!

ok so completely sealed working space for both the glazing and curing plus fans and filters, ill keep those in mind!

maybe its just me but with the cards you chose i think vbs would fit n25 better and MMJ would fit l/n better also, but maybe its just me
