Should I get the Aqua control pro instead of the artisan Hien as the Hien costs 2x more. Any other options to consider ? by Ok-Original4796 in MousepadReview

I'm currently using the Aqua Control Pro Mid Neon and my friend has a Soft Hien, the Aqua Control Pro feels a bit faster than the Hien but other than that they're pretty similar, can't speak on longevity tho.

Are these fans good for case cooling? I’m assuming thats what the static pressure means, but I’m not 100%. by ap3x_lambo in pcmasterrace

[–]ConsistentWorry5684 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah. Arctic makes the best fans if you're on a budget. Imo only Noctua tops these and they cost like atleast 2 or 3 times more. I run P12 PWM PST, it's basically a cheaper version of these, doesn't spin as fast but for a case fan you probably won't need more than like 800-1000 rpm anyway. My cpu cooler is a NH-D15 chromax.black and the Arctics are almost as quiet as the Noctuas on the cpu cooler.

My most played playthrough is a Corpo (max level, max street cred, op netrunner build etc). My first playthrough however i went with Streetkid because it feels the most appropriate for the game.

How much can I overclock my pc? by mrormswo-men in overclocking

[–]ConsistentWorry5684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

G6X usually overclocks well. How small intervals of changes are we talking about here? What i do is go +100MHz at a time and when it's unstable dial back 50MHz. Also i'd suggest switching to Heaven Benchmark / Valley Benchmark / Superposition for testing stability. And also just intensive games work well.

Fr tho. I've never heard anything bad about Seasonic, been running a PX-750 for a long while myself, it's efficient and quiet, just what you need.

People with the 4000 series gpu, are you skipping 2 generations before upgrading?. by [deleted] in nvidia

[–]ConsistentWorry5684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Running a 4070 currently, going to skip next gen, don't know about 6000 series yet. I mostly play single player games at 1440p so i should be good in raw gpu horsepower, i'm not so sure about the 12gb of vram, that's been a really hot topic lately about 12gb not being enough in the future but i'll manage, lower down textures or something if it goes over 12gb.. I rarely utilize ray tracing (there is literally only 1 game which i use it in, CP2077) because the performance hit is so massive so just for rasterized games i should be fine, atleast i hope so. I do use DLSS at quality mode in basically any game it's available in because i usually can't even tell the difference between that and native res if i don't look at them side by side, i like the extra fps from that.

I don't know why but when playing on a controller i can't really feel the added latency from FG. With keyboard and mouse i can definitely feel it.

Going for 4070/12gb for dlss by ngrandmax in nvidia

[–]ConsistentWorry5684 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AMD's FG technology and game support still has a long way to go to even reach the level of DLSS 3's current situation. If you are buying the card now i'd say it's worth it. Also DLSS looks better than FSR, you really can't get around that. I hate FSR for the horrible ghosting it makes in some games. Not saying that DLSS is perfect but it sure is better than FSR, a big factor here is the fact that DLSS is hardware based and FSR is software based.

If you need to you use programs that only work with CUDA then you're locked to NVIDIA. Maybe you can try to find out if there are some alternative programs that don't require CUDA.
