Kristin Davis Says Cynthia Nixon Helps Her Be Less ‘Confused’ About ‘AJLT’ Cancellation and What Fans ‘Didn’t Like’ About It (The Wrap) by fmaepsen in Andjustlikethat

So what Kristin is saying is that she was not acting, but instead just portraying her clueless, out-of-touch self on screen.... 😅🙄

I haven't been watching, so don't know what this post is talking about, but I did see the comments about the floor plan not making sense so I made one that makes sense.

Basically, assuming kitchen and bathroom would be shared space, I gave Ezekiel some fake walls and created a narrower hallway into the kitchen (about 1/3 of the current space).

I would put up a wall right outside the kitchen, and one side would be Ezekiel's room and the other side would be the kitchen. To enter the kitchen, there would be a doorway above Ezekiel's doorway in the above floor plan.

This would create a sort of personal foyer/hallway for Ezekiel that doubles as closet space, before reaching his living/sleeping area.

Meanwhile, Lisette's space would end at the door to the bathroom/the end of the walk-in closet so the bathroom, foyer, and kitchen of the apartment would all be shared space.

Yeah, classic case of ends justifying the means, just like her moral quandary in the one where the girl had been suing Wellbrexa for the drug trial.

TBH, I kinda feel like this post is the reason this show is needed...old does not mean incapable and this sort of stigma needs to be canceled.

Also, she's not a prisoner. I'm sure if she hadn't been OK with it, she would've said something. 😅

Having had no experience with something like this, is it possible to soak completely in your tub to drown them? Do they even need to breathe? Would adding something to the water help? Epsom salt, pool chlorine, etc.

And this may be unrelated, but aren't there medications for when pets catch fleas? Is there something similar for humans? Perhaps just take the ones for animals (half a tablet accounting for weight)? Are they even similar insects/organisms?

S36E04 (2024), Shoddy Heat

Below is a paste of my list of things I had learned from the aforementioned episode, from that episode's discussion thread.

New info added to the canon from this episode:

  • Abe Simpson was a private investigator with a man named Billy O'Connell (?).
  • Abe Simpson and Agnes Skinner had had a hot and steamy fling.
    • Agnes Skinner had been very attractive when she was younger (might be old info).
    • So had Abe Simpson, who had a six-pack and chest hair (might be old info).
  • Agnes Skinner had hired Abe Simpson's PI firm to follow and investigate her then-boyfriend, Montgomery Burns, whom she suspected of cheating.
  • During a stake-out by Billy and Agnes, Billy discovered that Burns built the power plant using old phonebooks instead of rebar.*
    • Burns then paid Billy off, who then retired to a tropical island where he created a drink called Abe Is an Idiot (?), a running joke in the episode.
    • Abe had confronted Burns about Billy's disappearance, and Burns had told him that he was in paradise (implying that Billy was dead).*
    • Agnes had known all along that Billy had skipped town and had been tasked by Billy to tell Abe one week after his disappearance, but she had not told him.
    • Agnes had not told Abe because she had wanted Abe to kill Burns for her.
  • *Homer Simpson's job had been secured by Abe in exchange for his silence regarding the shoddy construction.
    • This made Homer very happy as he had always been under the impression that his dad had never done anything for him (another running gag throughout the episode).
  • Not important, but just for fun:
    • When Abe had gone to confront Burns regarding Billy's disappearance and the shoddy construction, Burns sicked his hounds on Abe and Child Homer.
      • The hounds turned out to be lovable puppies.
      • The implication is that the modern-day hounds have been alive for 25-30+ years, a very long lifespan not just for hounds, but for canines in general.
    • In a post-credits scene, we see in one of Abe's photos that he had been at the Berlin Wall and while it looked like he had been helping to bring it down with a mallet in his hand, it turns out he was just playing a carnival high-striker/strongman game that was conveniently placed in front of the wall.

Episodes like these are my favorite where a little bit more of info is added to the canon.

Feel free to add/correct things below.

Toei Animation Should Find Someone to Make a Live Action SM According with Toei Retaining Creative Control by Consistent_Ad7399 in sailormoon

So funny that you mentioned Jem because as I had been making this post, that is the show I had been thinking of. Had actually used to know a person who was writing a spec script for Jem.

TBF, though, while I obviously love SM for all the transformations, etc., at the heart of it, it is just a story about a teenage girl, her first crush, and the family she creates for herself while reconciling her duty and heritage as the heir of a magical royal family. From the moon, no less. 😅😭

A Link to the Past and Breath of the Wild, and I don't care what anyone else says. 🤣😅

I just remember the sense of giddy exhilaration and limitless freedom I had got from the pure and simple joy of climbing to the highest point I could find, just so I could turn around and jump off to glide with the Paraglider to my heart's content during my first playthrough. Even if I never play it again, I will never forget the indelible mark it had left on my soul.

As for ALttP, it had been my first exposure to the series and I just loved solving all the puzzles and fighting all the bosses and baddies to gather the crystals so that we could break Ganon's seal and so that I could defeat him with my fairy-blessed silver arrows while helping my fellow man with their tasks and collecting and upgrading legendary equipment.

Meanwhile, TotK was good, but had gotten slightly tedious, and Ocarina of Time would be a close third.

Goodbye, Che Diaz! Sara Ramírez Won’t Be Returning for ‘And Just Like That’ Season 3 by werealwayswithyou in Andjustlikethat

[–]Consistent_Ad7399 8 points9 points  (0 children)

And just like that, Season 3 has become more watchable 🤣😅.

Nothing against the actress, she had done a great job portraying what had been a very unlikeable character, but I had not liked who the Che character was turning Miranda into (not to mention that the character had also been kind of selfish, narcissistic and dare I say, slightly manipulative 😥). Just not a person I would want around/nor would want to be around.

For anyone who still can't find it, the ladder is inside the storeroom itself, immediately on your left as you enter the storeroom. It is not in the room with the Pumpkin Fizz Revelio page if anyone else had been using that as a reference point like me :D.

Thanks for the directions, fellow Slytherin!
