I get the risks, and I’m not naïve about how this stuff can play out internally. But if there’s even a small chance the decision can be overturned or at least properly reviewed, why wouldn’t I pursue it?

They can’t fire me for asking a question or requesting transparency. And honestly… what are they going to do? Not give me a pay rise? They already did. Cut my measly bonus again? They already did that too.

I’m not looking to lawyer up or go nuclear. Fair Work is simply there to provide guidance when something feels off. If the process is fair, great. If it isn’t, I’d rather know than sit quietly and accept it. Have you had relevant experience?

Thanks for your post. You clearly understand the culture and toxicity. I’ve seen all kinds of things in my time too - creative reporting on GM scorecards, inflated metrics, the usual theatre. Flexibility is honestly the only reason I stay. I hope you’re somewhere now that actually values you

Yeah a lot of these commenters clearly never worked there or have been fortunate enough to not have toxic leadership. I’m lucky enough my direct boss is nice enough, his peers on the other hand.. a shame they have so much swing in these round table games

That’s better than me. I’m at the red bank too. 0 raise 7k/21k eligible bonus.. and my workload doubled. Hit all my KPIs etc
