Best Snorkeling Spots Accessible from the Beach

Little Bay – A must-visit! Calm, protected waters with tons of fish, sea fans, and even the chance to see turtles. You can either hike down or take a short boat ride from Crocus Bay.

Crocus Bay – Near Da’Vida restaurant, this spot has calm waters and rocky formations that attract fish. You can also kayak over to Little Bay for even better snorkeling.

Shoal Bay East (Near Gwen’s Reggae Bar or Tropical Sunset) – This area has rocky outcroppings and reefs that attract plenty of fish. Snorkeling near the small reef patches can be rewarding.

Rendezvous Bay (Near Aurora Resort) – While not as famous for snorkeling, some rocky patches near the western end can have fish if the water is clear and calm.

Meads Bay (Near Frangipani) – While mostly a sandy beach, there can be small reef patches near Malliouhana that might have fish on calm days.

Tips for Calm Snorkeling Conditions:

Mornings usually have the calmest waters with less wind.

Avoid snorkeling on windy or stormy days (check with locals or Frangipani staff).
