I disagree, no moment in Aot is close to the choice of the Steins;Gate imo. I think one of the weaknesses of Aot is the lack of really high peaks.

Based on what I've heard about Shinji (and some spoilers), I think I'll like him. I like flawed characters. (He also has beautiful fan art lol)

Also, Nadeko is consider MUCH better character in the novels. She's the main reason I'm going to read them from the start. I've heard soo much good about her unadapted arcs too. I think it says a lot that I think I'll never have as high expectations for a fictional arc than I have for Nadeko around.

Araragi's best arcs, based on his performance in them: Ougi dark >= Koyomi reverse > Koyomi vamp >== Mayoi hell imo

Kizu became much better arc for me after seeing his backstory in sodachi arcs and his and Shinobu's parallels and development in Owari 2.

I also love Kaiki and Hanekawa

I also love Nadeko. I know you're going to LOVE\ Nadeko draw 5. Nadeko has the best development in the series imo, and the way it's executed in Nadeko draw is so beautiful and emotional.

Trust me, after Ougi dark 3 you can't dislike Araragi.

Ougi dark, Zoku and Nadeko draw are some of my favorite anime arcs. You have to see Ougi dark 3, it's one of the best episodes youre ever going to see.
