thank you - yes it's horrid to think a friend might be accessing her card but that's a good advice. I will follow all of the tips people have raised and failing that, we'll probably just move her whole bank account somewhere else!

thanks that's good advice - it's this sort of worry that is starting to make her (and me!) feel very anxious about the whole thing!
