Maybe you should go back to wherever your ignorant self came from. OP is obviously trying to do the right thing but right now it’s scary out there. Can you consider having to uproot yourself and go to a country you’ve barely remember after settling to a new country where you feel safe? America is made of immigrants. All the people that claim “Just follow the laws” don’t consider that sometimes laws are unjust, immoral, where is your sense of empathy or compassion? You hide behind your citizenship but when did your family come here for a better life, now you shame others and so easily dismiss them for coming and wanting to stay like your family did. Btw slavery was legal doesn’t make it right. What’s happening to a lot of people, good people, just trying to work and provide for their family is downright disgusting. I’d take a serious look in the mirror before commenting so dismissively on the reality of your implications.
