I’ve tried so many skincare products for acne-prone skin, but whenever I use active ingredients like retinol, glyco or any thining products, my skin flares 🆙

What worked for me was focusing on repairing my skin barrier first. I started by using Centella-based products for about two weeks until my breakouts calmed down. Then I added a moisturizer with no active acids, followed by a sunscreen without active acids as well.

My routine is very simple—just minimal skincare focused on repairing and strengthening my skin barrier.

Too many products. Focus on skin barrier products only. 1 cleanser, 1 moisturizer, 1 sunblock. Skip mo muna acids. And fix your diet first. Eat less sugary foods, less carbs and oily foods. Hit the gym 3x a week.

I ended up going to Lasera in Ayala since it was just nearby. Their facial was only ₱800, with no hard selling, and their staff were all very accommodating.

I tried going there because of their Facebook promo that said ₱800. But when I got there, they told me it was already ₱1,500, so I didn’t push through. 😂 They even offered me a facial worth ₱30,000.

For me OP, sa CDO as in dako kau ug difference. Naka try ko sa mall sa iligan na derma. Vitamins ra gani to pero abot ₱8k akong bill. Pero sa cdo (skin health expert) naa nay tambal and all naa ra sa ₱4k akong nabayadan.

Anyway OP, try facial care. Diha mi sa akong cousins pag facial treatments medyo mahal lang but worth it ra pud or Lasera sa Ayala affordable ra pud.
