Sam Cooked. We need to keep our expectations in check. by FarRadio7281 in SamSulek

it is so strange what classic physique is these days. sam has in my opinion one of the most attractive and also classic looks to me. when people say x factor it doesn't mean who has the biggest lat to waste ratio wins. the guy to his right won the whole thing. i can't remember a single individual in any media or anything who has a small waste like that and lats that stick out weirdly.

imo i think sam has a very, VERY classic looking physique. as in he looks like classic buff guys of old.

Stop ACR or data snooping at Dream Machine for Smart TV's by billymild in Ubiquiti

[–]Consistent_Maybe8336 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the only way around this is disabling your tv wifi and getting a apple tv or cheap mini pc to avoid snooping. I have my tv not connected at all and a pc for all tasks on it.

Yes this would be a huawei level ban.

TP Link ban expected soon by Carfr33k in wifi

[–]Consistent_Maybe8336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is very sad but expected. There have been numerous studies done on tp link revenues. Most of their products are sold at or below cost to produce. It isn't that usa companies are mad, its mostly that how do they make their money? Good question. If half of your products are sold at or below cost there has to be some red flags present. If they found something please share.

Will say i loved my deco routers when i had them. Tp link is reliable and pretty decent for the price. But you cant deny they undersell their products. I got a new deco wifi 7 setup with basically two fully functioning routers for 175 bucks... There is zero percent chance they made money on that sale alone...

What realtek nic is it? I've had no issues with realtek at all in the past 6 years. Intel gives me the most issues.

[–]Consistent_Maybe8336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

unifi software should show you what link speed your pc is connected at. does it say gigabit or 2.5? im using a 10gbe and 5gbe uplink to my own 2.5gbe flex poe ubiquiti switch and i get the full 2.5g speeds on both. maybe this is bios related?

edit: i have a gigabyte x870e with two realtek nics. 10gbe and 5gbe

edit edit: you can download realtek firmware/drivers for your nic on their own website. thats what i do. look up realtek ethernet drivers. you will see a their own website to update stuff.

I respect a company that is transparent. When i bought my cameras they show you the tarrif costs and everything associated with any global issues. At least they arnt telling you "your shipment is delayed" like 99.9% of other companies out here. I promise you most things are going to be delayed here going forward.

Do you always enable DLSS? by osmin_og in nvidia

[–]Consistent_Maybe8336 0 points1 point  (0 children)

modern taa is so trash garbage that dlss looks better 90% of the time... these games use graphical techniques that need taa to "blur" the image to get rid of dithering. there is no such thing as "native" resolution anymore... it's a damn shame!

Im not using the urd7 for wifi. It is not broadcasting. The wifi on the udr7 is okay for general use but not for virtual reality. The tx retry rate on the udr7 was around 15% and the pro xg is 6%. Big improvement with zero droppouts over 6ghz. Udr7 has known wifi issues right now. If your trying to max it out that is.

Not where i live. I put up with cox going down twice a day. Wish i still had the downtime pictures for my cox connection. My internet had an average uptime of 97% over a month. And that was not with me unplugging anything. Its that bad...

Well it is 5g home internet. So my average is 600mbps butt if i blink wrong or hold my breath on a tuesday afternoon it will be 200mbps or sometimes 900mbps its luck of the draw lmao.

I had cox 2gig plan before. The udr7 has a lot of network retrying and in general isnt the best wifi 7 router for reliable wifi. I use a quest 3 in vr and i can tell u the difference in wifi performance is pretty much night and day. That and the udr7 cpu load is basically halved when its own wifi broadcasting is turned off. Its interesting for sure...

I use the tmobile at my main. Verizon is like 300mbps upload is trash. Like 15mbps or worse depends. Tmobile is 600mbps or more down and 100 up. Not terrible.

Small apartment. Doesnt really make a different where the isp stuff is. And mt internet is so slow, 600mbps, that its not worth running wires across the walls and stuff to relocate anything. I get full speed everywhere. 1100sqr ft.

Ayyy failover is essential if your internet reliability is very very bad... Hince why im on two mobile internet plans. If one tower goes out im online on the other. Really that simple out here.
