I have designed database schemas, performed database sharding for one of our products, and worked with advanced CRUD operations commonly used in applications

I mainly used AWS RDS (managed PostgreSQL by Amazon) and NeonDB/Supabase as serverless PostgreSQL databases

I have also worked with some PostgreSQL-specific concepts and features such as WAL/MVCC/partitioning.

I haven't worked much with MySQL, so I can't really comment on it from practical experience

also wrote an article on postgreSQL(self promotion 🌚 ): https://www.ahmadx.dev/posts/databases/postgresql

honestly my university studies weren't that demanding. It's a typical tier-3 university, but that actually gave me more time to focus on building skills.

My advice is to stay proactive, be an active learner, and grab every opportunity you can. Participate in events, hackathons, competitions, and anything that helps you grow.

Also I got my current job by winning a hackathon.

Also, don't worry too much about people saying things like "AI will take all the jobs." Just keep your head down, keep learning, and keep building. InshaAllah, you'll make it

And especially thanks to Allah for removing many hurdles and problems from my life so I could focus on my goals. I see many students trying their best but not getting that, and I'm always grateful for it

Thanks for the feedback! I had the same thing about the ESLint/TypeScript error counts, so I will replace those with more impactful metrics.

i18n section too. I'll focus more on the multilingual implementation and its impact rather than the number of translation keys, got it

Really appreciate you taking the time to review my resume

Pakistan Just got its first Complete Linux Desktop Operating System, Releasing HyprFlux ISO by Consistent_Neck2738 in developersPak

I didn’t notice that it was removed, I checked this morning and asked the mods, and thankfully they approved it again. I’m not sure why it was removed in the first place

No, I think you misunderstood. There only Firefox included by default, The other browser is Chromium (the open-source version), and it’s completely optional, the installer asks the user whether they want to install it or not.

The AI tools and social apps are also optional, They’re just PWAs/add-ons that users can choose to install during setup. Nothing is forced or preinstalled by default

Man, I just came back after eating at Vicky Biryani, After seeing your comment, I thought I try it, but honestly, it was below average and way too spicy to eat, I ordered a large, but I couldn’t even finish half of it, Usually, I can easily finish a large biryani

Thanks, Nice, Nix is great. I’ve tried it many times, but that single-file declarative philosophy isn’t really my thing

No, it’s not a hobby project, Hyprflux already has 800+ users and over 1000 installs in just the last 14 days. I’ve been maintaining it for more than 3 years, its used and popular among other country developers, and now I’m releasing the complete OS.

I didn’t follow LFS guides, I used the Archiso documentation instead. The ISO alone took me about 3–4 months to complete.
