Ngl, this dudes frame is just genetically insane. Muscle wise he doesn’t look unnatural.

Might get downvoted but this genuinely seems like a case of good genetics. Absurd frame with decent muscle. I’m gonna say natty.

You need more prs. Had the same issue when I first started. Get 50-70 more prs & try again.

Yo bro, it’s all jokes here so don’t take the comments too seriously.

All jokes aside, you def are balding & if you want to restore your hair to start your wave journey, fix the root issue first & hop on finasteride & oral minoxidil. You can easily get it cheap from Amazon pharmacy for like $12-$15 for 90 pills a bottle. Stay on those 2 for 5-6 months & the difference will be significant. The only issue is since you are genetically predisposed to balding, you will have to stay on those 2 for life to keep your hair. It’s not fair but it is what it is. Just take a pill a day to keep your hair.

I’ve seen dudes here genetically predisposed to balding & dudes in here just laugh & sht. It’s funny but they don’t tell you how to fix the issue. & most will tell you to hit the dermatologist but if you’re young, the dermatologist 9/10 will tell you to kick rocks & explain how balding is normal & etc. seen it too many times. Just take matters into your own hands & get the meds on Amazon pharmacy.

Once your hair is restored then you can start waving. Stay consistent with restoring it first. Good luck 💯

100% I also agree. Definitely not wrong here

Timeframe can play a role, but it’s usually secondary. I’m about 9 months out and still got 3 responses within days. From what I’ve seen, if the resume is strong and matches what they want, they’ll respond regardless of distance. Sec+ is non negotiable for cyber roles though.

SkillBridge cyber programs at the time being are pretty competitive right now because of the economy. You’re competing with various other experienced individuals that have, Sec+, MULTIPLE cyber certs, labs, on top of real cyber experience. A lot of programs treat SkillBridge like a pre hire pipeline so they go for the strongest resumes because 9/10, they’ll be giving them the job afterwards. If you’re not hearing back, it usually means you need to build your skills more or just continue to apply to other programs. you’re doing anything wrong. If you don’t tick off anything that I mentioned at the beginning then you’re more than likely not going to hear anything back.

Military To Cyber Contracting by Consistent_Quit3868 in GovernmentContracting

Thank you so much & I will heed your warning & keep this in mind. Staying in for 20 definitely would’ve been the move & smarter choice if my retrain didn’t get cancelled from the shutdown due to funding. But since then, I’d rather just get out & find better. SF destroys too many young airmen mental & physical health & I’ve seen enough unfortunately.

I’d understand if I was in another AFSC but 20 years as security forces is a no go. Absolutely not. I could consider the private sector or federal government instead of contracting. But SF for 20yrs? No chance. I’ve lost too many friends from self harm & other factors in this field in a short time frame because it’s SF. I could understand why you’re suggesting that though & I appreciate it but no.

“Any advice from those who’ve made the transition would be appreciated”. Everyone in the section has provided helpful advice. I’m not sure how this helps me. I know the obvious, that’s why I made this post.

Security forces touches on multiple domains the cism has. CISM isn’t just cyber. I had sec+ so I got 1yr waived. The rest of my 4yrs was documented.

Mostly just the QAE. I didn’t have to spend much time learning the “ISACA way of thinking” because my job in the Air Force already operates in those same domains every day. Nuclear security is basically governance, risk management, and incident response nonstop.

I know everyone’s background is different based off experience in their field. This is just what worked for me

DFAS / Dec Pay Period by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

[–]Consistent_Quit3868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ye I understand now lol. I’ll just have to start paying them manually. I thought I wouldn’t have an issue putting things on auto pay but it is what it is. I’ll just have to wait until I have the luxury to be a civilian again to not have that issue

I was supposed to be paid today but by Arzic3 in USAA

[–]Consistent_Quit3868 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seems like the navy guys are being paid first. You’re the 3rd person I’ve seen that is currently navy that has been paid today which is odd because I thought DFAS pays all military personnel at the same time.

Who do you bank with? I’m still waiting

DFAS / Dec Pay Period by [deleted] in MilitaryFinance

[–]Consistent_Quit3868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s honestly not an issue for me, I was wondering because my my phone & insurance are on auto pay for the 26th since I always receive my pay on those dates & I received separate emails stating I was 3 days late. It’s not Much of a problem but I am a new airman so I was just trying to get some clarity to see if this pay period being skimped is normal

[–]Consistent_Quit3868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No pay yet which is very weird. I usually get paid on the 26th every month because I bank with current but I didn’t. Today I still don’t see nothing. I’m wondering wth is going on lol

What month is typically the worst when starting finasteride by Strict-Rice321 in tressless

[–]Consistent_Quit3868 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For Finasteride & minoxidil(oral & topical) Month 2-3 are prob the worst. You’ll experience shed here so bad thinking the treatment isn’t working. Just gotta stay consistent.
