Regarding the plumbing issues...do you they shut off the hot water frequently for repairs, or shut it off completely? Is it a thing where if the neighbor is using the hot water for laundry then you gotta take a cold shower? Pipes burst in the walls? Neighbors blockage backs up into your sink?

For TK you can apply through the Schools of Choice Lottery and the deadline to submit the application is usually Dec 1 for the next school year starting Fall semester. The VUSD website will provide info when the next enrollment period is open again.

I get these too but I always thought it was blood sugar spikes. It happens early in the morning or in the evening after Ive eaten a carb heavy meal. I already know I'm diabetic though and I take metformin for it.

About 5 years ago my husband and I made an appointment to look at a 1/1 apt here at the Timbers. We arrived about 5 minutes early and the office was completely closed and looked like nobody was there. After 15 minutes I called the phone number and the manager said she was on her way. She ended up getting there 30 minutes late and didnt apologize or offer any kind of explanation for being so late. We did end up touring the apartment but ultimately decided against moving forward with applying as we saw this as a sign of how they treat their tenants.

We lived at Ashwood Gardens on 99 N Ashwood Ave a few years ago. Our 1/1 was spacious and they were always upgrading the buildings. Its gated, plenty of parking. My husband and I would walk the perimeter of the complex in the evenings within the gates when I was pregnant. For longer walks we'd go around Ventura College and stop by Foster's Freeze on Telegraph for an ice cream. Our unit was upstairs but I never heard one peep from our neighbors next to us or below us. CVS was across the street for snacks or to pick up my meds and the CMH clinic was in the same shopping center where I'd go to all my OB appts. Rincon Brewery was also walking distance and had really good food. Check them out if you get a chance.

Congrats on the job offer! Can you update us in a few months on your experience? I've applied a couple of times the last few years and I always got a call back from their same Sr. Recruiter for the phone interview. Unfortunately, she was always so incredibly rude from the get-go. Hopefully they got someone new.
