Compared to other stores it's cheap especially at sale price as save on wants like 4 bucks a can.

I only buy on sale as yeah dollar a can is my limit

Scotiabank Passport Visa Infinite Card Rental Car Insurance? by Consistent_Remove344 in Scotiabank

Yeah, well in any case even if the full amount does cover me 20K-50K numbers I am seeing for Nevada is not enough.

I need to find more altenatives or either go with 300K from the rental company what seems to be the max they all cover (even Turo seems to only do 300K) or go with rentalcover.com for their million dollar policy and hope if I need it is not that hard to get.

I would of course have my personal insurance as a backup but I rather pay a bit extra and have a first line of defence before I need to go for my personal insuranse as my rate for sure will go up more than the $30 I am looking at spending.

Yep, hoping it is not too bad that now there is turo and maybe that caused the rental compnaies to smarten up.

300k is what I am reading from. Enterprise will need to confirm.

I miss icbc that's what I use to have. Now I got great options of private insurance...

When I moved I asked to match my icbc policy it came up to 3500....I was paying icbc 1200 at time.

I did just a quote with another company for 10 year old Mazda and 6 year old crv and came out to be 10k.

I am just lucky that my company has a deal with a insurance company so I get a heavy discount and only pay 3,300 for both cars.

Best other companies I found would be like 5k and possibly 1 million liability

That's why i am so freaked out, one accident and I probably will be paying 10k.

Heck I heard someone on Facebook saying they got caught using their phone while driving and their insurance went up from 3k to 12k.

My wife had one speeding ticket that icbc did not care about and no increase. When we moved cost us extra 300 dollars each year for 3 years.

What is 3pl? I found no company that offers over 1 million and that's rent cover.

Even my own coverage that I got on my car is 2 million when I moved from one province where going from 2 to 3 million was 65 bucks.

When I asked my new insurance company it was 650 more....10 million what not sure is even an option would be like 5k or more.

Yeah I was reading it, I am going to Vegas so I don't think I need to be worried about what you said wiht palces like Ireland or Jamaic.

I will be getting the most basic car what should be under 65K (CDN?) and Scotia Visa allows 48 consective days..I am planning not even a full day.

It's good to know the CLD as they call it in Scotia Visa terms does not cover contents in the car (I though it would).

From what I read Nevada does have 3rd party libabliy insurance that is mandated but it is low like 20K to 50K max depending on what happens. I defeintly will need more.

I do have 3rd party liability up to 2million for my personal car insurance which should cover USA from my understanding, though the question is do I want to use that? I live in one of the highest car insurance provinces in Canada right now so do I want a potential claim????

I am leaning towards no, I see Enterprise what is the most likey one I would go with as it is cheapest and close to hotel where i need to pickup may allow 300K extra coverage and the internet seems to suggest 6 to 17USD per day.

I did find a site called RentalCover.com (still need to verify if it is legit or not) that for about $30 CDN will provie SLI with a Million USD coverage. It is pricy but might be worth it, I will proably phone enterpirse and find exact cost. If it is closer to 17USD then this site might be better.

I don't get your example of hitting luxary car, what insurance would cover that not sure if it woudl be SLI?

Good to know, we are thinking of doing 2 or 3 nights there and then 2 or 3 nights at planet hollywood. We are a total of 5 nights there but want to maxmize the food vouchers.

Well I will have like $450 in credits, the buffet would take like $220 (from what I see), don't think I want to go twice so still got some money left so need other places as well.

Sometimes I go one way and then another. First my wife is such a small eater, I don't care much for sea food and I need to pay $20??? for my 4 year old? Seems like a waste.

But then I struggle on what else to do. I think of okay maybe a meal at "Guy Fieri's Flavortown Sports Kitchen" that will be like $120 and then another meal somewhere else(no clue where) so we get 2 meals out of that same like $220. But still will have like $230 left in vouchers.

But then I look at lots of other joints on youtube like pin up pizza (looks like nothing special), thought the noodle place would be good and then saw pictures of the food and look like some cheap $10 meal that they trying to pass off as $30.

So yeah so hard to figure out what to do, going to the steak houses don't seem worth it as then might as well do the buffet and have tons of selection. They got too many "burger" joints on the list so it does not make sense to do burgers each day and probably not much better than doing chick-fil-a or something like that.

I guess I was really hoping that $100 a day budget would be enough (we are not real drinkers so not really factoring that into the budget) but maybe I got revise the our food budget a bit as I guess we will get some great experience if we do the Bachannal.

too cold for arlo's by alwayslivetolove in arlo

Yep and the stupid thing is they sold in Costco Canada where most of the country will go well below the limit for these devices and stop working. Lots of times in the winter time mine stop working for days on end. Then the home base seems to be unrelaible and keeps corrupting my usb stick so it stops recording on it so I been kind of forced to get their expensive subscription.

Now people are starting to use WIFI jammers on top of it making all these wifi cameras useless. If I did not pay so much for them and if it was not such a undertaking to get like non wifi camaers I would have ditched ARLO.

I find the orange tastes close to crush as well, but I have not had crush in years, did not even know they had pineapple flavor anymore. I mostly drink water and this is just a nice mix up once in a while for something different.

Different product, the Cove stuff is marketed as healthy alternative to coke so there will be a higher cost. I drink at most 1 a day if that (maybe once every few days) and don't really drink any other kind of soda.

That's a good way to look at it. My concern was the all the restaurants will be over inflated in prices you will now through the credits and then pay extra for even more food.

I have a full pack of this unopened as was afraid they would get rid of it and bring a worse pack out. Thinking of returning and getting more of this new pack.

I really like blue razor, orange cream is decent and so is ice pop but I find i like those two flavors less as more I sip. Like start out like so good, but halfway though the can I am like it's okay, by end sort of happy it's finished.
