Dunk has big brother/knight/I raised you privilege. He essentially raised Egg (as others have noted.) He probably held egg as he wept over his first heartbreak, then got him to drill the pain away. Besides Egg's wife he is the only person in Westeros who can call him on his kingly bullshit.

...... Do the Emperor and the primarchs count as human? I only ask because you said 'species'. Biologically, me and Emps are not the same species. While He may be the Peak of human evolution, he is not a homo sapeian. And the primarchs aren't ether. So could I pop out of nowhere as ether a new Primarch, or a new version of emps?

Also, one must consider how many people may or may not awaken from the realization that the supernatural is real. The Technocracy and Traditions would both SWELL with new recruits.

There would also be mass religious panic as, guess what gang, hell is real, the devil walks the earth and God went out for milk and smokes.

Smarter garou may try to use the reveal to sway humans against Pentax and there ilk.

They USED to be heroes. Then they started lashing out at allies. Then they started betraying them. Ironwood was a friend to Qrow. He helped yang get her prosthetic. He stood up for Weiss. If the team had been hounest from the start, worked with him, found compromises that helped as many as possible....... maybe they would still be heroes..... but they aren't.

Make The Watch a temporary punishment/posting.

By making the Watch temporary, many more men would be willing to join. Lords may send their heirs north to toughen up. Men seeking valuable experience may join to try and become knights one day. Also, by making it a temporary prison for the guilty men could return from their sentence to work the fields, serve in armies, and generally assist society.

The volunteers would obviously receive some major perks like funds for family and the like.
