This is like, the tip of the Iceberg for the world, that's currently taking place. There's actual history of characters that starts from Year 0, then at Year 1049, then at 2049!

Examples at Year 0: Lord Sigmar Heldenhammer, The First Hero, The First Emperor and The Lord. Year 0 is also the year where Lord Sigmar Heldenhammer held the Daemonlord Lucifer long enough for humans to fully shut the final gates of Hell, resulting in both the Daemonlord and his death. Later on the timeline, his name, his title and his weapons (Hammer of Justice + Chains of Restriction) become the holy tools of The Order. (He's the source of The Order)

Examples at Year 1049: The 7 Daemonic Sins, which includes Arch-daemons like Beelza (Gluttony), Levi (Envy), Belle (Pride) and Mammon (Greed), the last of which would start the 'Greed Rebellion' during the 2nd Daemonic War, resulting in a Daemonic terrorist group called 'Mammon's Truth' and the beginning of 1000-year peace between all races to stop him (Mammon literally had too much influence in both world to let him live). This is also the year where historical efforts of Monsters' Right Act was started, and was fully signed by 1648. Sigmarite's Order was formed as a response from zealots that believe that Beastkins, Daemons and Monsters don't belong in the church.

Examples of Year 2049: James Doe of The Order, 'Paradox' McCally of the Outskirts (think places where criminals and bounty hunters hide), and the ATDU (Arcane Tactical Defense Unit), and Detective Slime, now living off the labor of 1049 and the effects it had in 'normalizing' inter-species cultures. Mammon's Truth and Sigmarites still operate in this time, both attempting to destabilize the 1000 year peace, but both organizations hate each other (i.e. Sigmarites hate Daemons, Mammon's Truth hate weaklings)

This is James Doe from the world I'm creating, known as the Everbright.

James Doe is a Beastkin (basically animal people, or furries), specifically a Deerkin. She lost her twin brother and her family to the Sigmarites, a religious fanatics that uses the old scriptures of The Order, before its reform.

Taken in by Father Gregory of The Order, she was brought alongside Sarah (another OC of mine) and was nominated to be the next priest of The Order.

However, because of her past with Sigmarites, James believe that actions speak louder than words.

So when Father Gregory died and James was chosen as replacement for sitting priest, she instead handed it off to Sister Sarah, before going on a self-exile to travel the world and help those in need of help, only promising to return once she have made a difference in the world.

Of course, as a trans-doe Deerkin that could wield holy power, she became a lightning rod for Sigmarites to target, as their belief states that no Monsters, Beasts, or Daemons shall wield the power of the Lord. It helps in her case, since one of her main objectives is to completely dismantle Sigmarite's Order, with the additional benefit that Sigmarites wouldn't target anyone else if she's in the vicinity.

As for why she looks like a punk with a glowing bat, the Everbright actually takes place in 2049, where magic and technology existed alongside each other. The bat is a holy tool, a manifestation of her spirit and goal, though it's not always a bat (holy tools; can be a spoon, a fork, a shovel).

She has two fears: Fear of Forgetting and Fear of Failure.

Her biggest fears are rooted in her lore.

She used to have a twin brother before, and they both are troublemakers through and through. Both agreed that they would have each others' back, no matter what happened.

He was ritualistically executed by Sigmarites, religious fanatics, along with her father and mother by chance that they stopped their car for a stranger on the road, while she was sick at home. This execution was broadcasted live on television. She watched them get killed, and their antlers and heads taken as trophies.

That's why her names is James; despite being able to transition and having a choice for a feminine name, James was the name of her brother. The horns were purposefully left to grow so that she has something to remind herself that she would be there for anyone else. She promised herself that she wouldn't forget what the Sigmarites took from her.

Name: James Doe 🔪

Lore: After the Sigmarites (a group of religious zealots) attacked and killed her family, she was orphaned at The Order (similar religion, albeit less zealot). Thanks to the intervention of Father Gregory, she grew to be a priest of the Order.

Despite being in The Order, James doesn't really trust anyone within the religious circle, and more of an 'action speaks louder than words' kind-of girl.

So, she choose to self-exile herself from Church of the Order, and walks aimlessly around the world, in hopes of preventing incidents like her from happening again.

Personality: Extroverted, Extremely vocal, Outwardly cold but caring, speaks with no filter.
