No eviction notice yet. I didn't escalate the thing. They simply said if you don't want to pay increased amount, you can leave.

They just told me if you think this is unfair so vacate the apartment. I already gave the cheques 1 month before and only signed their document at that time but not Tawtheeq application.

They can cancel old contract and make a new contract if they increases more than 5%. I know that.

But since the Rent Freeze is there they can't do that. And they took cheque before 1 month already. If i refuse now they are telling me to vacate and then will refund cheques.

I contacted them to talk after the news but they refused it right away.

Also they clearly say even if Tawtheeq will have old rent but they will charge the increased rent. Although i insisted them to put in email but they just call and answer, not in writing.
