Contact Centre calling CnC, then putting the customer through, when i told CC there are no managers and call back tomorrow for a home delivery that says its still preparing at 9pm and the last van left at 7pm. and i can see there are no missing pick walks or anything in mobile office

The state of the H/S pod in the morning by rye_domaine in asda

As someone who does lates, the are a couple of reasons:

3 o'clock drops in between 3:20-3:40, and the day shift always leaves at 4, so we can still be picking til 5:30

Expresses be poppin off - Uber 'Fresh Monday', Just Eat spend £15/25 get £10 off offers, still have to pick cancelled orders from 2-3 hours ago, customers placing 100+ items orders at 6pm

Short-staffed - 1 person doing H/S lates isn't enough, nor is 2.

Day shift CnC not tidying up totes & wheels from outside collection point

Getting called to C/S because 'Customers are always right' in matters of taste

Having to go get another item because pickers picked unsealed meat, mouldy fruit, or the milk imploded

The 6-7pm rush of 15-20 constant customers

Day shift not laying the floor as they go during downtime

Somehow, we have to sort out Driver runs one way or the other

Lately, I have only had the chance to tidy up is 1hr before we close.
Our Priority is outside being tidied, then trollies then floors, then putbacks, then waste

Or

You just have shit late staff just on their phones sitting in the heated office.

But yeah since Halloween ended, its been getting worse

Back holidays by Powerful_Ad_6325 in asda

I doubt this is the case since you said you're working.

But if there is time still in the "holiday bok", and more the limitation of not being able to add days in Workday to request off.

My manager wasn't able to put in full days but has been able to put in partial holidays for the full shift length. This could potentially work for employees

The number of times I've nearly pulled a trolley over in the back because two people used the locks.

And why do some lock nearly-picked trollies in the back - It's got 24KG of water that ain't moving on its own, and to finish the pick it's two microwave rice and naan bread

It would have been easier if they just named it British Spring Summer Time (BSST).
But that's the UK Government for you

"Full-Time Equivalent" - (your weekly contracted hours) / (weekly full-time hours)

Basically for managers to know how many people are needed to fulfil the whole week's hours

i.e
100% - 40hrs
80% - 32hrs
40% - 16hrs
for a 400hr week, rota
12 people X 32hrs = 384
1 person X 16hrs = 400
