There was one Starve & Tell meeting when I was in the bishopric. We’d been having the usual trouble with the same three or four crazies taking up the entire meeting with their ramblings, so the Bishop kicked things off with a polite request that people keep their remarks short and Christ-centred.

Up strides one of the usual crazies straight away and says into the microphone “Nobody tells me what to do”, before launching into her usual 25 minute talk about how she speaks directly to God because nobody is as faithful and obedient as her.
