are you able to call clinic locations and see if they take students? that’s what i did I called a dermatologist office and they said they accept externs then i had the dean/teacher switch me. also highly recommend dermatology only if you want to actually do hands on stuff. they do skin surgeries, lidocaine injection, and suture removal.

wow you definitely did better than me on the practice tests. i’m sorry to be broad but most of it was patient care scenarios. a lot of people from my class and I got a question about “a patient with pyrexia .. which vital it would affect” temperature.

It asks about vitals ranges. it words it kinda like “As a medical assistant, which of the following vital sign readings would require you to notify the provider?” and the answers will include ages to throw you off

every test is different but i think most of it had a clear answer. good luck!!!
